The second stop on the first leg of "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Prayer Trip" was at Scout's Rest Ranch in North Platte, Nebraska.

This is the main house at Scout's Rest Ranch. William F. Cody alias Buffalo Bill built a vast ranch outside the current town of North Platte, Nebraska. This is where Buffalo Bill came to rest between tours with his Wild West Show.

Location: North Platte, NE U.S. 83 north to U.S. 30, then west 2 mi. & north on Buffalo Bill Ave.
Description: Home to William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, buffalo hunter, scout, and creator of the Wild West Show. Horseback trail rides summer months.
Hours: House and barn are open 10 am-8 pm daily from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Also Mon.-Fri. in April, May, Sept., and Oct: 9 am-5 pm.
Admission: Park entry permit required. Camping available.
