I entered the Temple on Thursday morning. It was already hot, dry and the air was dusty. I paused at the front suicide altar that formed the inner wall of the structure. Behind the suicide altar, was a small, dirt hallway with a tall ceiling. The hallway was like a room with three crude wooden platforms covered in dust. People sat on the platforms, and contemplated their lost friends and loved ones. There was a man with one side of his head shaved clean, and the other with long unkempt hair hanging down over the collar of his dirty, black trench coat. The tall skinny man lounged about on the center platform; he paused from his smoking to watch me enter the room. One or two other people came and left, as I set my guitar case down. W.
