The
Grateful Dead experimented in the recording studio. They tried dubbing
techniques and mixes that were never tried before. They were rather
rough on the producers and engineers that were used to working on tight
budgets and schedules. This comic was loosely based on a particular
recording session that I heard about. A closer look reveals that the
characters clothes and hairstyles don't match the time period of the
1960s.
