Kyokos
Catnap
by: W. Dire Wolff 1997
Watching her sleeping
Peaceful, cloud face on pillow
Dreams, fairies, and tender smiles
So many miles traveled
Through the catnaps stardust
So far from lifes battles
She ventures alone.
Who could dare enter?
And open the gate...
Of her peaceful mountain palace
So and high and so grand
Tender hugs for a pillow
In small porcelain hands
Who dares bring her?
To this everyday land.
Such beauty she finds there
So blue is the sky
With the green vines and flowers
That grow in cloud covered gardens
She prances in snowfields
And dances with kings
But everything changes
With no reason or theme.
Asleep in her beauty
From this world we see
The calm peaceful body
Of a soul that is free.
